John M. Tawadrous, DMD – Pediatric Dentist
Dr. John Tawadrous is committed to making visits to the dentist a positive experience for his young patients. He provides skilled dental care, while making patients and parents alike feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Tawadrous believes in treating his patient, not just their teeth, while setting them on the right path to a lifetime of good habits for optimal oral health.
Dr. Tawadrous attended the Nova Southeastern University Honors Program in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He continued his education at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, Dr. Tawadrous did his General Practice Residency Program at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn NY. Afterwards, he did his Pediatric Dental Residency Program at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in Naples, FL, equipping him with the skills to perform even the most complex procedures.
Dr. Tawadrous’ areas of dental proficiency include: comprehensive dentistry, removable and fixed prosthodontics, routine and surgical extractions, restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, and implant restorations. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. Dr. Tawadrous is fluent in both English and Arabic.
Dr. Tawadrous has volunteered his time and skills to the Give Kids a Smile Organization in both South Florida & New York as well as medical/dental mission trips to Tlayacapan, Mexico, where he provided much needed dental treatment and oral hygiene counseling to the underserved population.
When he’s not treating patients, Dr. Tawadrous enjoys spending time with family, fishing, kayaking and photography.
