When Should I Take My Child to the Dentist?

We recommend that children begin to visit their pediatric dentist when they have a tooth or not later than one year old. This helps accustom them to the dental office experience, and our efforts will make sure that it's a positive experience. We can also determine if their first tooth is erupting well or needs attention. Even though primary teeth will fall out, usually on their own, it's essential that they erupt correctly. Our state-of-the-art equipment enables us to provide the best treatment possible to children of all ages as well as those with special needs. Most of our patients are between six months old and middle teenage years.

• Checkups: Your child should have a dental checkup by the time they're a year old. Your skilled pediatric dentist will examine your child's teeth and gums for decay or disease and will recommend the best course of treatment.

Invisalign and Take-Home Teeth Whitening

If your older child or teen is interested in teeth whitening or Invisalign^®, we may be able to help them. Typically, Invisalign^® is used for older teens due to the requirements for its use, but there may be alternatives. We also provide at-home kits for teeth whitening, so ask about those when you call to make an appointment.

Financing

We realize that dental procedures can be expensive, so we accept most major insurance plans, Medicaid, and CareCredit. At this point, we do not accept Smile Alliance Club or Smile Alliance Club Plus. For your convenience, we'll bill your insurance company because insurance billing is complicated and confusing.

We strive to maintain the most sophisticated technology possible, including digital radiography, an iTero digital scanner, Nomad, and iTero Invisalign^® simulation.
