Our children’s dental office is bright and cheerful, with toys, books, and puzzles to keep them entertained, and they can even watch television while they have their teeth cleaned. Our team sees infants, toddlers, children, and teenagers through the age of 18. We’re ready to help you with every stage of your child’s oral health development.

Many children may have already met a member of our team. We’re very active in visiting schools and day care centers, especially during National Children’s Dental Health Month in February.

Our friendly team looks forward to making your child’s first visit to our pediatric dental office fun! We understand that it can be stressful for children to go to the dentist for the first time; that’s why we take the time to explain in simple, easy-to-understand terms what the dentist is going to do and how it will help keep your child’s teeth healthy. Young children frequently sit on their parent’s lap for the exam and teeth cleaning. Parents are welcome to come back to the exam area, and we’re always happy to schedule siblings for the same appointment time to make it as easy and convenient as possible for your children to receive the dental care they need.

Of course, children love our treasure box! At the end of their visit, they can choose a prize for having a great appointment. They also take home a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.

Our experienced pediatric dentist is trained to help children with special needs, including children with autism, ADHD, Asperger syndrome, multiple sclerosis, and other developmental, physical, behavioral, or cognitive disabilities. Keeping Your Child Safe Comfortable Is Our Top Priority

Many parents worry that getting a cavity filled or another dental procedure will hurt. We can assure you that we provide gentle dental care, and are experts at soothing fears and making children feel comfortable. We can use nitrous oxide, which many people refer to as laughing gas, to help children relax. It wears off within minutes of the mask being removed and there are no side effects.

Our pediatric dentist is also affiliated with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and can perform more complicated dental procedures there if needed. The hospitals also have board-certified anesthesiologists on staff so children can be put to sleep for their procedure and simply wake up when everything is completed. It’s rare that this is needed, but it’s nice to know you have that option.

We’re open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. If your child has a dental emergency, please call us right away. We know that toothaches and accidents can happen any time, and we can usually get you in to see the dentist on the same day that you call.

We accept most types of dental insurance, Florida Healthy Kids, and other plans.  We’ll work with you to maximize your insurance benefits and will file claims on your behalf.
