Welcome to Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics of Forest Hill, your friendly, affordable dentists

Thank you for choosing our experienced pediatric dental office in Forest Hill. Childhood is filled with moments designed to make you smile—from when your child’s first tooth comes in, to big grins for school pictures, to the first visit from a tooth fairy, and so much more.

Just as it’s important to take your child to a pediatrician for regular checkups, it’s also important to take your child to a pediatric dentist. While many general dentists see children, only a pediatric dentist has received several additional years of education and training in order to diagnose and treat children from infancy through adolescence. As you can imagine, the dental needs of children are different from those of adults. Our team is trained to see children from age one through 18, and can help you with every stage of their oral health development.

Your Child’s First Visit to Our Pediatric Dental Office

Our team looks forward to making your child’s first visit to our pediatric dental office fun! Our office is bright and cheerful. We have video games, books, and toys in the waiting room and your child can watch TV while receiving their dental care. Our friendly and compassionate team knows that it can be stressful for children to go to the dentist for the first time, and will take the time to explain in simple, kid-friendly terms what the dentist is going to do and how it will help to keep your child’s teeth healthy. Small children frequently can sit on their parent’s lap for the exam and teeth cleaning. Parents are welcome to come back to the exam area, and we’re always happy to schedule siblings for the same appointment time to make it as easy and convenient as possible for your children to receive the dental care they need.

Of course, children love our Treasure Tower! At the end of their visit, they receive a token and can choose a prize for having a great appointment.

Our Doctors

Our pediatric dentists are specialists, meaning that they have completed the necessary training to properly treat children of all ages. Our focus is on the variety of dental problems that can occur when a child’s mouth is still developing. We also provide care to children with special needs, creating personalized care plans that ensure the comfort of the child and his or her parents. We utilize a team approach, working closely with parents, pediatricians, and general dentists to develop comprehensive care plans. To learn more about our kid’s dentists and services, please give our office a call.

Braces and Invisalign® Treatment

Getting braces can be a big milestone. Our Forest Hill orthodontist looks forward to meeting your child to see how braces or early orthodontic treatment could create a beautiful, healthy smile.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children visit an orthodontist around the age of seven. An orthodontist is truly the expert when it comes to identifying any problems with jaw alignment or teeth alignment. Early orthodontic treatment can help guide the jaw’s growth and ensure new teeth are coming in correctly.

There are more choices than ever to straighten teeth. In addition to traditional braces, our orthodontist also provides clear braces, which is a more aesthetic choice because the brackets are tooth-colored and not as noticeable. Plus, our orthodontist is certified in Invisalign clear aligners. Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear, removable retainers to gently guide the teeth into position. Invisalign is often called “invisible braces” because it’s almost impossible to tell that someone is wearing the aligners. It’s a popular choice for older teenagers and adults, especially people who work in retail or do a lot of public speaking, such as corporate executives and teachers.

To find out whether braces or Invisalign treatment could help you or someone you love, call today to schedule a complimentary orthodontic consultation. You’ll leave your first appointment knowing which orthodontic treatment is right for you, how long treatment will take, and how much it will cost. Our team offers several financing options to help you fit the cost of treatment into your monthly budget.
