Dr. Anna Kelman is a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Dentist who is committed to creating positive dental experiences for children of all ages. She believes that early dental visits set the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles and works closely with both children and parents to ensure every visit is comfortable, educational, and stress-free.
Dr. Kelman earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in May 2022. She also completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience in May 2018.
She completed her pediatric dental residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, where she received advanced training in hospital-based dentistry, behavior management, preventive care, and the treatment of children with special healthcare needs. During her residency, Dr. Kelman gained extensive experience providing conscious sedation, general anesthesia cases, and managing dental emergencies and trauma. She is particularly skilled in creating personalized treatment plans for infants, children, and adolescents.
Dr. Kelman is fluent in English and Russian. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Michigan Dental Association.
Known for her warm and gentle approach, Dr. Kelman strives to build trusting relationships with her patients and their families. Her goal is to make every child feel safe, confident, and excited about taking care of their smile.
