Emely Pozo, DMD

Dr. Emely Pozo is a compassionate pediatric dentist who provides patient-focused care with a special dedication to children with special needs. With a prevention-first mindset, she emphasizes education and early intervention, and she enjoys working closely with families to help them achieve lifelong oral health goals. Dr. Pozo is known for her calm, friendly, and playful demeanor, creating a warm, child-centered environment that helps both children and parents feel at ease.

She prioritizes minimally invasive techniques and takes the time to build genuine connections with every patient she treats. Her goal is to create a welcoming community where children feel safe, supported, and confident—watching them grow into healthy, happy adults is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.

Dr. Pozo earned her undergraduate degree at Florida International University, where she also participated in mission trips to the Dominican Republic. Her passion for service includes volunteering with organizations like Give Kids a Smile and Camp Boggy Creek, which supports children with serious medical conditions and their families.

She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), and she is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients and families.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Pozo enjoys dancing salsa, traveling, exploring new cultures, trying different cuisines, and experimenting with baking sweet treats.
