History of Waterford Lakes

Waterford Lakes is part of the Orlando metro area. It's a small, unincorporated suburban development in Orlando that was formed on March 29, 1985. The area was originally called Huckleberry but was renamed Waterford Lakes in 1991. The area has more than 8,000 residents and boasts tree-lined streets, lakes, beautiful landscaping, and mixed-use developments to evoke the small-town American ideal, with the traditions of the past merged with all of the conveniences people are used to today.
